We are stepping up to help meet the foster care crisis by helping families stay together. And when they can’t, we are equipping healthy families to stand in the gap and provide safe havens for at risk children. |

#CareForEveryFamily Initiative
For the past year I’ve been honored to part of the Tiger Team, creating and launching a brand-new foster care initiative. Care For Every Family was born out of a passion to see the faith community in Sedgwick County answer the foster care crisis. Over 1300 children are in the foster care system and the Church is getting in the middle of this fight…leading the way. We dream of every church in our county raising up at least one new foster care family, wrapping around them and offering every support they need. It’s happening! What a powerful move of God! |

Gathered Strong
Dream Center ICT has a strong partnership with Gathered Strong. They provide support and vital training for foster families, care givers, churches and educators. This year we hosted a TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Interventions) training that helps parents, caregivers and teachers better intervene with high needs, high risk children. What a blessing! |

Free Skate Night for Foster Families
Sunday, August 3 marks our third annual skate night. Dream Center ICT partners with Gathered Strong in another purposeful effort to target support foster families in our area with a fun night of laughs and food. |

Praise in the Park @Naftzger Park
Join us for our third annual worship night in downtown Wichita. Our city will never be the same. We join Presence Worship to welcome youth groups and churches from all over the area to lift up the holy name of Jesus…and to have focused prayer over our teens and our schools. The Dream Center will also provide groceries to the homeless community as we bring Jesus in a tangible way to the core of our city. |
PLANEVIEW OUTREACHES
Planeview is one of the most depressed, struggling communities in Wichita. The Dream Center is expanding and diving deep into this community to help people dream again!

Good News Club Colvin Elementary
Every Wednesday afternoon, we are partnering with educators and parents in bringing the gospel to young students. 40 children gather to sing, play games and participate in a lesson about Jesus. |

Day of Hope
This will be our third BIG SUMMER EVENT in Planeview. Once again, we partner with Convoy of Hope (Hope Wichita) to bring God’s hope to the Planeview neighborhood. On Saturday, July 26 we will serve over a 1000 people with free groceries, backpacks, hot breakfast, medical tent, prayer tent, inflatables, pony rides, prizes, snow cones, free bibles…and much more. |

Warehouse Space:
Through an incredible ministry in Tulsa, Bridging Hunger, we access thousands of tons of non-perishable groceries….FOR FREE! But we have no place to store it in. Wichita. Finding some warehouse/storage space would open up so many more opportunities to serve Wichita quickly and more efficiently. If you know of any available space, someone wanting to donate (tax-deductible, of course) please contact us at [email protected] or call 316-796-3643.
Housing:
Housing costs are very high in our area. For the single mom or for that teenager aging out of the foster care system, the challenge is nearly impossible. We’ve attempted to help a few families in the past year but have been overwhelmed at how difficult the task has been. Pray with us about starting a “tiny home” village. We are looking at a trailer park near our location to purchase/build low-cost transitional homes for young people and families struggling to live affordably while getting on their feet financially, spiritually and emotionally.
I have found that my job as a pastor becomes extremely difficult when someone I’m trying to disciple doesn’t know where they are going to live the next week.
Maybe God has a plan to help bridge that gap, buy us time to help?
The need is great…and expensive. But let’s see what God might do!
These wonderful outreach events are important. But our ministry continues on a weekly basis all year long. The single mom who is struggling to get by. The lonely senior who no longer has meaningful connection to the world. The young family who is raising a special needs child. Dream Center ICT is here “helping people dream again.”
